Water is becoming an in-demand commodity and it's even grabbed the attention of huge companies like General Electric. Water markets include drinking water distribution, supervision, waste intervention and farming, in the end, it's almost a 500 billion dollar market and it's growing extremely fast. Another company who sees big potential in the water business is the Japanese - Dutch consulting firm Japan Insite who are assembling an 80 million Euro water monetary fund.

But converting water into a private business is interfering with world-wide 'water is human right movement' since water is essential for life the distribution of it needs to be should be available to everyone and not only to those who can afford it. The poorest may not even be able to procure drinking water if the water is privatized and so drinking water could become a luxury of the rich and dominant image in advertizing. Affordable water is not only a problem for the developing countries like India and China as Southern Europe, Israel, the western part of the United States, the Middle East, and areas in Southeast Asia such as Singapore all suffer from the dwindling water resources.

Running your car with water as a supplement also reflects a deeper conflict between gas, oil and water. Even if water is being dubbed the 'blue oil' or the new source of gas, one thing is very important that we take care of this as a one of our primary source of life, because we have no desire to experience what we are going through now in the gasoline industry.

We know what a challenge it is to battle high prices of the commodities and with luck water will not be one of them.
